Minor November 5, 2025 API issue with syncing between Spektrix and websites 20h 49m APIs - UK and Ireland, APIs - US and Canada, APIs - Australia and New Zealand

Started Nov 05, 2025, 05:43 PM UTC· resolved Nov 06, 2025, 02:32 PM UTC

  1. identified Nov 05, 2025, 05:43 PM UTC

We’ve identified an issue where the API is sporadically returning 500 errors, which may affect how Spektrix is syncing with your website CMS for event listings, including instance dates and statuses. If you are noticing any impact on your website, such as incorrect show dates or status of instances, we recommend contacting your web developer, sending them a link to this page and directing them to the 'Note for web developers and integrators' below. We’ll continue to update with any progress or now info here. Note for web developers and integrators: We are noticing transient and intermittent 500 errors in the API, which we are investigating. In general - regardless of today's issues - to ensure 500, 401 or any other unexpected responses do not impact your syncing between Spektrix and your website / partner platform, you may wish to implement a resilience strategy such as retrying failed requests and/or retaining your last 'good' sync.

  2. monitoring Nov 05, 2025, 06:21 PM UTC

We identified the cause of the sporadic API issue that is affecting how some websites are syncing with Spektrix via the API. We have put a fix in place to mitigate the issue and will continue to monitor the issue closely through tomorrow. You should start to see improvement in your website syncing, and any issues with event/instance information should be resolving.

  3. resolved Nov 06, 2025, 02:32 PM UTC

We have been monitoring the fix that was put in place and have not seen any issues with the API through the evening and into this morning. We will be marking this as resolved and will continue to monitor our API.

  1. identified Jul 09, 2025, 09:56 AM UTC

Minor June 18, 2025 Error pages, some payments affected, visual layouts effected 5m Opayo (formerly SagePay), UK and Ireland, Spektrix Payments (Adyen)

Started Jun 18, 2025, 10:03 AM UTC· resolved Jun 18, 2025, 10:09 AM UTC

  1. identified Jun 18, 2025, 10:03 AM UTC

We are aware that some users are seeing 404 or other error pages when accessing the system. This is sporadic and a re-load of the page should result in a page loading correctly. If an error is hit before taking a payment this may fail, a retry should also work in this situation. You may also see that some images or other visual elements of the system aren't loading properly, this won't affect functionality but a re-load should also resolve. We have identified the issue causing this and are taking steps to resolve this now. We will update shortly with more information, we would expect this to be fully resolved very shortly.

  2. resolved Jun 18, 2025, 10:09 AM UTC

We have been able to resolve the issue that was causing the sporadic error pages. This will have intermittently affected all areas of the system for a short period of time. If you are still seeing an error page or you have images not loading correctly, if you re-load or close and re-open your web browser you should find everything is fully restored and back to normal. We'll continue to monitor the system but we aren't expecting any recurrences of this issue.

Minor January 29, 2025 Issues effecting Open Transactions on 28th January – Opayo (formerly SagePay), UK and Ireland, US and Canada

Started Jan 29, 2025, 12:15 PM UTC· resolved Jan 29, 2025, 12:15 PM UTC

  1. resolved Jan 29, 2025, 12:15 PM UTC

There were two issues related to Open Transactions in your system that took place on 28th January. Between 12pm and 3:30pm GMT / 7am and 10am EDT on 28th January baskets weren’t timing out as usual which resulted in an increase in transactions appearing in your Open Transactions panel. We've now fixed this issue and Open Transactions from this time should now have been closed. Between 10:18pm and 10:32pm GMT on 28th January, Opayo had an outage that meant transactions failed during that period. This may mean that payments attempted during this time are now appearing in your Open Transactions panel with payments to approve or delete. In order to clear these transactions, you should check your MyOpayo to see if the payments were successful or rejected and either approve and confirm, or delete these respectively. The Opayo outage will have only affected UK and Irish clients and will not have affected any clients using Spektrix Payments.
