We are aware of an issue customers are experiencing with the chat functionality in the latest iOS app update. We fully understand the impact this can have on your day-to-day work. Resolving this issue is our highest priority. Our team has identified the root cause and is actively rolling out a fix to all apps. The fix is currently under review and is expected to be deployed within the next 24–48 hours. In the meantime, users can continue to use the web version of Speakap, which is working normally. A fix for the chat issue in the iOS app is actively being rolled out. A significant portion of customer apps has already been updated. Please make sure you are using version 2026.06.x or higher of the Speakap iOS app. You can manually check for updates in the App Store. If the update is not available for you yet, it means the rollout is still in progress for your app — in that case, we kindly ask for a bit more patience. In the meantime, the web version of Speakap continues to work normally. We’re closely monitoring the rollout and will share another update if needed. We apologize for the disruption this issue has caused.

  3. resolved Feb 03, 2026, 10:34 AM UTC

A temporary fix has been rolled out on the server side, which retroactively resolves the issue for previous versions of the iOS app. Users are still encouraged to update to the latest version as soon as possible to ensure full stability and compatibility going forward.
