Update timeline

  1. identified Mar 16, 2022, 03:52 PM UTC

The production federation metadata used for SAML authentication to 360 Encompass in the Cloud currently includes a reference to an expired encryption certification (not a signing certificate). For some implementations of SAML, this may prevent users from being able to authenticate. A resolution has been identified and will be implemented shortly Please monitor this incident for more information as it becomes available.

  2. identified Mar 16, 2022, 04:09 PM UTC

Cloud engineers plan to deploy a resolution to the issue within the next 30 minutes.

  3. monitoring Mar 16, 2022, 04:39 PM UTC

The production federation metadata has been updated with a reference to a non-expired certificate. System administrators of affected systems are advised to refresh ADFS -or- to manually perform pre-flight checks (which should have the same effect) before releasing systems to their end-users. End-users are advised to clear browser/Citrix caches before attempting to sign in again. The Managed Services Operations team is monitoring the issue.
