# SFTP Connectivity Disruption on April 15, 2024 ## Impact Summary: SchooLinks districts and their respective systems may have experienced connection issues. Some data in their respective SFTP directories may have temporarily been removed ## Cause: This issue occurred as part of a series of security updates/patches on the SchooLinks SFTP server\(s\). During the update configurations to our authentication services and sync services caused connectivity issues to the SFTP server as well as temporary data loss. ## Resolution: The configuration errors were resolved and authentication services restarted. All data within the /other/, /schoolinks\_exports/, and /student\_images/ was restored. Please reference your Data Upload page located at [https://app.schoolinks.com/data-upload/uploads](https://app.schoolinks.com/data-upload/uploads) to review the latest automated files that have been run. If your files from 4/15 are not there then please resync your daily files to the automated directory
