On Thursday, August 17th Roadie experienced a period of degraded performance. At approximately 1:06PM ET our team was alerted by our automated health checks of elevated error rates for our directions API, resulting in some estimate and shipment requests failing. Our team quickly identified the cause of the issue to be a misconfigured deployment from a few minutes prior. At 1:24PM the change was reverted and all systems returned to normal status. A mitigation plan has been put in place to prevent this from happening again inclusive of automation for such an event.
