  3. resolved Aug 16, 2024, 02:58 PM UTC

Following our release on Wednesday, Aug 14, we've identified an issue preventing some users from accessing the Release tab. Users encountering this issue may encounter the "Something's not quite right" error. Cause: The issue stems from missing permissions for control org owners when attempting to update some new metadata components during the last release. Since these components cannot be deployed with the package update, adding them requires the following permissions: 1. View All Data 2. Modify All Data 3. Modify Metadata Through Metadata API Functions Solution: If your team is experiencing this issue, please follow these steps: 1. Navigate to the Connections tab and find the control org connection. 2. Open it and locate the Owner user. 3. Adjust the profile of this user to include the permissions listed above. 4. Go back to the Release tab and refresh the page to trigger the update. 5. Once the tab loads successfully, you can revert the permissions to their original state. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reply to this email.
