Our cloud service provider Azure is experiencing resource shortages in westus3 impacting operations on AuraDB and AuraDS located in this region. Meanwhile this gets addressed we advise our customers to delay operations (Create, Resize, Clone, Backup, Load) where possible as these may not complete successfully.

We have put in place measures to leverage capacity in other regions and users will now be able to create and manage databases normally. Monitoring for some time before we close this incident

Our cloud service provider is currently experiencing issues with some operations on virtual machines in East US region on Availability Zone AZ02. This affects all operations on Aura instances in that region and we advise to delay instance management operations until this incident is resolved by our cloud service provider.

We have identified the root cause and can confirm that only cloning to AuraDS is impacted. A small subset of customers using AuraDS may be affected. We are working on a fix.

We have further narrowed down the root cause and can confirm that cloning from some existing AuraDB instances to other AuraDB or AuraDS instances is impacted. A small subset of customers using AuraDB may be affected. This effects ONLY existing AuraDB instances that are running version 5.20. To determine if you are impacted, use cypher to check your Neo4j version (see example). - call dbms.components() yield name, versions, edition unwind versions as version return name, version, edition; - Neo4j Kernel 5.20-aura enterprise We are working on a fix, which is to roll out 5.20. We will update this incident with an updated status on Monday, June 3rd.

The automated backup scheduler for the AuraDB Enterprise tier is experiencing issues and currently defaults to running backups every 9-10 hours. To get your backups running hourly, please use the Aura API (see https://neo4j.com/docs/aura/platform/api/specification/#/instances/post-snapshots ). We are working on a fix and expect a roll out after 2024-05-27.
