    Lumen crews were conducting scheduled fiber repair maintenance last night in the Joplin MO area. That maintenance was completed, however, it was later determined that a separate fiber had accidentally been cut during that work. Construction crews are onsite awaiting utility locates to be completed before repairs can begin. There is no ETR at this time. Circuits Affected: Dadeville R-II Hurley R-I Manes R-V Willow Springs Public Library

    Emergency locates have been completed. Excavation crew ETA to damage is 9:00AM. Still no ETR.

    Excavation crew was delayed to retrieve a mini excavator from Springfield, new ETA is 11:00AM.

    The excavation crew is now onsite with the mini excavator. Once the damaged area is fully excavated, the plan is to pull in approximately 800 feet of new fiber to complete the repair. A splicer, who has been onsite since the beginning of the incident, remains on standby awaiting access to the cable. No ETR.

    Lumen has posted an estimated time of repair/restore as 2:00PM.

    Restoration efforts continue. A second splicer has been dispatched to assist with repairs.

    Services restored at approximately 2:50PM. Splicers have completed their work and are hands off. We will monitor for any further issues.
