Update timeline

  1. investigating Dec 15, 2021, 04:05 PM UTC

Due to our authentication provider Auth0 having issues, we have deployed our fallback Magic Link login. You should be able to continue to log in to the Molecule application, and already logged-in users should be unaffected. We will continue to monitor the situation and report back with updates.

  2. monitoring Dec 15, 2021, 04:42 PM UTC

The Auth0 issue has been identified as a larger-scale issue experienced with AWS that resulted in an impact on authentication services. At this time, the issue should be fully resolved, but Molecule will be continuing to monitor potential authentication issues with the application. We will continue to use our Magic Link login process for the time being until we notify you otherwise.

  3. resolved Dec 15, 2021, 06:14 PM UTC

This incident has been resolved. The Magic Link login update made by Molecule has now been reverted and usage of Auth0 for authentication has resumed. Please reach out to [email protected] if any further issues need to be reported.
