Auth0, our login page provider, is experiencing slowness. That means that users may intermittently see slowness or timeouts when using the login page. Already-logged-in users should not be affected. If you experience this issue, please wait up to 20 seconds for the login to succeed. Refresh the page, and the login should ultimately succeed. We are monitoring the issue. We also have a backup login system that we will deploy if this issue persists or gets worse.

The underlying Auth0 incident has been resolved, without needing to roll out the backup login system.
