    Exchange Online is currently experiencing an incident that is delaying the delivery of email. Microsoft has created two incidents based on recent changes they made. 1) EX649175 - https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home#/servicehealth/:/alerts/EX649175 User impact: Some users may have been unable to send or receive Exchange Online email messages. More info: Affected users may have received NDRs or the following error "503 5.5.1 bad sequence of commands" Status: Resolved 2) EX648815 - https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home#/servicehealth/:/alerts/EX648815 User impact: Users' inbound and outbound email delivery may be delayed for 15 minutes or longer in Exchange Online. Status: Service degradation Note this issue impacts all Microsoft customers and is not exclusive to Mesh. Mesh filtering and mail processing are functioning as normal. We will continue to deliver mail and monitor the situation for updates.

    Microsoft has published an update at 15:37 UTC for issue EX648815 The approximate email delivery delay has been increased from 15 minutes to five hours. "More info: Some users may encounter delivery delays of up to approximately five hours. The issue isn't client-specific, thus this impact may occur in all Exchange Online connection methods." Mesh filtering and mail processing are still functioning as normal. We will continue to monitor the situation for further updates.

    Microsoft marked the incident as resolved on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 19:30 UTC. Emails have been reprocessed and new messages are sending within the expected timeframe.
