    We have received reports that patients using certain Samsung devices are having difficulty joining appointments via text message, as they are being redirected to Mend's login page instead of the link where they can use their date of birth to join the visit. A period is being appended at the end of a link in some Samsung devices, which may be causing the issue. Our team is actively investigating and working on a fix. In the meantime, we have identified two workarounds that may help: 1. Depending on your workflow, the patient may still log into the portal if they know their login information, and join the video visit from their dashboard. 2. Providers or staff may use the "Invite Someone" feature from within a video visit to send the patient a direct link. Please note that this does not affect links sent via email. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue. We will provide further updates as we have them.
