    On **November 20, 2026**, Lightcast will update the **company** and **company_name** fields across APIs and Data Shares to align with the new Lightcast Companies framework. To ensure smoother transition, Below Temporary fields have been introduced: - **company_v2** - **company_name_v2** These fields contain legacy data to prevent immediate breakage and allow clients time to transition. **Impacted Endpoints and Data Shares** - **Job Postings API**: US, Global, Canada, UK, and Company - **Profiles API**: US, Global, and Canada - **Job Postings Data Shares**: US, Global, Canada, UK, and Company Direct - **Profiles Data Shares**: US, Global **Recommended Action** Review your API and Data Share integrations before November 20, 2026, to ensure they support the new taxonomy values in the company and company_name fields.
