  1. identified Jun 04, 2025, 01:43 PM UTC

The FeedbackFruits webapp has reduced availability in EU due to concurrent authentication and database issues. This issue presents itself as a 'Something broke' screen when launching FeedbackFruits. We have identified the issue and are working on a fix.

  2. identified Jun 04, 2025, 02:42 PM UTC

We've applied mitigations to reduce database load. This should resolve the 'Something broke' error for most users while we continue working on a full fix.

  3. monitoring Jun 04, 2025, 03:19 PM UTC

The implemented mitigations appear effective, and error rates have decreased. We're continuing to monitor system performance to ensure stability.

  4. resolved Jun 04, 2025, 04:51 PM UTC

The issue has been resolved. All systems are stable, and users should no longer encounter errors. We'll continue to monitor for any further anomalies. If you experience any issues, please contact our support team. 2025-06-06: We are investigating reports from a limited set of users at specific institutions that are having issues loading FeedbackFruits activities, after the reduced availability of earlier this week. Based on our current understanding, the issues are intermittent - retrying opening the activity at a later time is likely to help. We are seeing that some institutions/courses are more frequently affected than others. We implemented a temporary fix aimed at resolving this and are monitoring its effectiveness, while resolving the root cause.
