Detail: On Friday July 15th, 2022 at 9:30PM UTC, the Digi Cloud Operations Team observed a performance degradation impacting the processing of device firmware update requests. This degradation started approx. July 14th at 5AM UTC and affected all customers scheduling firmware updates. Root Cause: An update to the Digi Remote Manager platform on July 14th at 3AM UTC put additional load on a database that resulted in a need for optimization. This optimization was applied at July 15th at 10:30PM UTC. The firmware update backlog is quickly catching up and a return to normal service is expected within 2 hours. Actions to Prevent Future Incidents: - Additional monitoring of request queues will be put into the system.
