We recently learned that upcoming changes to Nigerian telephony National Numbering Plan will affect the existing shared telephony line. Nigerian Communications Commission has directed a change of Fixed-Lines numbering format from 8-digits to 10-digits National Significant Number (NSN). This change will be effective on January 1st, 2024. The new number for Nigeria Shared line will be +234-201-227-8917. During this transition period, both the old and new numbering formats will remain functional and Individuals can still call-in reports on +234-1-227-8917 and +234-201-227-8917 or can still submit a report through web intake, located on your organization's dedicated landing page or at https://www.convercent.com/report. However, commencing on January 1st, 2024, the old format will no longer be operational. We will update the Nigeria shared number listed on landing pages and related content within Onetrust Community and Knowledgebase. If your organization has any materials that contain the Nigeria number, such as a code of conduct, flyers, intranet, policies, etc., please make sure you update those as soon as possible with the new Nigeria shared number. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
