We're seeing intermittent errors from HMRC's MTD for Income Tax service at the moment. If you experience an error when making a submission or trying to set up your link to HMRC, trying again should resolve it in most cases. 2026-10-06 10:30:00 BST - We're seeing a further degredation in performance with errors becoming more frequent 2026-10-08 20:00:00 BST - Performance appears to be back to normal

HMRC are currently experiencing an outage of their MTD services, and as a result these features will not be functioning in Clear Books. We are awaiting a fix from HMRC. 2026-10-03 07:30:00 BST - We are seeing MTD functionality return to normal

We’re currently experiencing a known issue with the Co-Op business bank feed that is preventing connections and updates. We suspect a recent system change at the bank caused this. We’ve already escalated the issue directly with Co-Op and our feed provider, and we will update you as soon as they give us a fix. We appreciate your patience! 2026-10-05 11:40:00 BST - Co-op have confirmed that the issue relates to their recent system upgrades and affects third party software connected using Open Banking. They are currently working to address the issue.

You may be unable to view or submit your MTD for Income Tax information during this time.

Users are seeing a message stating, "Your transaction history is currently being imported and will be available in your bank account in a few moments," but no transactions are being imported. Our bank feed provider is working with Lloyds to resolve this.
