Our data center partner, MCNC.org, located in the Raleigh, North Carolina area, is currently performing scheduled network maintenance. As a result, voice services at that facility are temporarily offline. The good news — your calls should not be affected. Carolina Digital Phone is built with a geo-redundant infrastructure, meaning your devices will automatically route through one of our other servers located in Greensboro, NC, or Dallas, TX for uninterrupted call processing. In the unlikely event that you do experience any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team at [email protected], and we'll get things sorted out right away. Maintenance is expected to be completed by noon today. We appreciate your patience and thank you for your continued trust in Carolina Digital Phone.

We are writing to provide an update regarding the network maintenance previously scheduled this morning at 5 am for our MCNC.org data center. The planned upgrade work at MCNC has not yet been completed. To ensure continued service stability, we have temporarily routed all customer portals and mobile application traffic through our data centers in Greensboro, North Carolina, and Dallas, Texas. Services remain operational during this interim configuration. This work is part of an ongoing effort to replace and upgrade switching infrastructure within the MCNC data center. The current maintenance window will focus on transitioning high-volume traffic flows to newly deployed core switches. We appreciate your patience as this infrastructure work continues and will provide further updates as progress is made. If you have any questions or experience issues during this period, please contact Carolina Digital Phone support.

Connectivity at the Raleigh, North Carolina, MCNC.ORG Data center has been restored. Our geo-redundant voice services platform is designed to manage call traffic during events of this nature automatically. As expected, most services continued to operate normally. Impact was limited to devices configured with a single connection to the Raleigh data center, and geo-redundant connectivity across all voice services was not enabled. During the transition, some browser-based applications may have relied on cached sessions and temporarily lost connectivity. This can be resolved by clearing the browser cache and reloading the application. We appreciate your patience and understanding while service was fully restored.

Over the past two months, we have completed a full hardware upgrade for your voice services in our Greensboro, NC, and Raleigh, NC, data centers. This morning, we officially decommissioned the legacy servers, ensuring a smooth transition without impacting your voice services. Thanks to full geo-redundancy, all phone devices had already been operating on the upgraded primary servers for several weeks. While our status page initially displayed the legacy Greensboro and Raleigh servers as offline, this was due to outdated reporting rather than any service disruption. The new servers have been fully operational for weeks, and we have now updated the status page to reflect the correct information. We appreciate your patience and are pleased to confirm that your voice services remained uninterrupted throughout this transition.
