Yesterday, between approximately 8:45am PDT and 9:30am PDT Calix Consumer Connect Plus experienced an issue which affected multiple customers. One symptom was an “Internal Server ERROR (CPE server offline)” error message visible when looking at managed CPE in the Service Support view. The issue also impacted new CPE provisioning and turnups. The problem was traced to one of the backend processes which are responsible for communicating with the managed CPE. Once this specific process was restarted the issue was resolved.
