[NL] Een storing aan de nameservers van BIT zorgt ervoor dat bepaalde de resolving van hostnames in veel gevallen niet werkt. Hierdoor werkt bepaalde functionaliteit van de dienstverlening niet of niet optimaal. De storing zorgt er in ieder geval voor dat www.bit.nl voor veel gebruikers niet bereikbaar is. [EN] An incident on the nameservers of BIT results in failed resolving of hostnames. Certain functionality of the services does not work or does not work as expected. The website www.bit.nl is unavailable for many users. Impact might be bigger though.

[NL] Al geruime tijd draaien er nieuwe autoritatieve nameservers. Een wijziging aan de oude autoritatieve nameservers zorgde tussen 11.45 en 11.58 uur voor het incident. Een configuratie instelling die naar de oude nameservers verwees was bij de wijziging over het hoofd gezien. [EN] For some time new authoritative nameservers are in use. A change to the old authoritative nameservers causes the incident from 11:45 till 11:58 hrs. A configuration setting pointing to the old nameservers was missed during the change.
