As we mentioned in the final update to the incident last night ( http://status.arcustech.com/incidents/pxrkk6g37qf5 ) that affected clients on a single of our physical VMware servers we will be doing a maintenance window tonight. This will be a non-impacting event as clients will be "live migrated" from one physical server to another, so your servers will be serving data the whole time. The full steps tonight will be: 1) Migrate clients off of the system affected last night by the outage. 2) Once system is in maintenance mode we will upgrade the system from VMware 5.1 to VMware 5.5 3) Also in this process FusionIO storage drivers will be updated from v2 to v3 code providing more performance and data protection. 4) Once the system comes back online we will start the process of migrating clients back, and in the process may distribute clients a little differently across a number of systems to balance out CPU, RAM, and Storage usage in the process. As always if you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact [email protected]. Thank you.

Work scheduled for this maintenance period is completed. After monitoring things for a few days we may schedule a similar window for this specific physical server to review/tweak some of the changes made tonight. We will of course post another scheduled maintenance announcement if needed. Thank you.
