  1. monitoring Apr 29, 2026, 07:58 AM UTC

Several datacenters worldwide have temporarily restricted access to cPanel ports. This may cause login difficulties via the client area or Single Sign-On (SSO). Impact: All our servers and shared hosting clusters remain fully functional and are not affected. However, some intermediary global datacenters may apply temporary restrictions, which can partially impact your connectivity from the client area. Workaround: Access cPanel directly via port 2083 or through the cPanel subdomain using the credentials sent in your activation email (“Your hosting is ready”). Status: We are monitoring the situation closely. Resolution is expected shortly.

  2. monitoring Apr 29, 2026, 05:28 PM UTC

cPanel patches have been deployed across all eligible servers. As mitigation measures are now in place for the majority of systems, we have lifted the temporary network-level blocks that were implemented to prevent unauthorized access. We strongly recommend that all customers update to the latest version of cPanel & WHM as soon as possible to ensure full protection against this vulnerability. For servers not eligible for the patch, we will be reaching out shortly with guidance on what options are available to secure your environment. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and take any additional steps necessary to maintain system security and stability. If you need assistance with updating cPanel or have any concerns, please contact our Support team.

  1. investigating Jul 25, 2025, 06:47 PM UTC

We are currently aware of an issue affecting some websites where the following error message is displayed: "Misdirected Request — The client needs a new connection for this request as the requested host name does not match the Server Name Indication (SNI) in use for this connection." Our technical team is actively investigating the root cause and working on a resolution. We will continue to provide updates as we learn more. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

  2. identified Jul 25, 2025, 08:17 PM UTC

cPanel has recently shipped Apache update (2.4.64), which introduced an SSL/TLS proxying regression (SNI conflicts) with Nginx (and probably other third-party proxy services). The current version in the affected servers is 2.4.64-1 rpm -qa | grep ea-apache24 ea-apache24-2.4.64-1.el8.cloudlinux.x86_64 To rectify this, cPanel had republished patches 2.4.64-2 and 2.4.64-3 to fix it. The fix is being implemented at this moment.

  3. resolved Jul 25, 2025, 09:38 PM UTC

Our team has deployed the patch from cPanel. The corrective changes have been applied, and all affected websites should now be loading normally. If you are still experiencing issues, please clear your browser cache and try again, or contact our support team. Thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve this.
