Ziron experienced a major incident on January 17, 2019 affecting Inbound Voice, lasting 3h 13m. The incident has been resolved; the full update timeline is below.

We’re investigating an upstream operator issue that is affecting some inbound calls to Ziron allocated UK local and national numbers.

We understand from one of our upstream operators that they suffered an outage earlier this morning. All service has been restored and we await further updates from them.

The service has remained stable since the last update. We have received an initial RFO from the upstream operator concerned, who have advised that they suffered a major DNS failure on their primary and secondary systems from approximately 09:00 to 09:18 this morning - however it is unclear at this time whether this outage caused the issues we saw around the same period earlier. We will provide a full RFO ourselves shortly as soon as we have further information available.
