    The SMS notification service crashed and sent out several messages to users. The crash happened while the notification table was open and when the service was restarted the table was still locked. The restarted process could not update the table that a notification had been sent so it continued sending notifications until the table was unlocked. No messages were missed but several notifications for the same message was sent to some users.
