Dear Tangoe Customer, As you have heard in today’s news, there has been a “global IT outage” caused by Crowdstrike which has impacted Windows servers and PCs. This is not a cyberattack. A bug released in a nightly code push is the root cause. Tangoe uses Crowdstrike to protect our assets from malware and we were impacted by this issue. Fortunately, the problem was detected quickly by Tangoe to be able to address critical systems by 4:00 a.m. EST. In short, less than 2% of Tangoe’s IT footprint was impacted and there were no Tangoe Platform outages. The only customer facing impact was to our SFTP environment. As a result, no HRIS or APGL transmissions occurred between Midnight and 4:00 am EST. Our Production Support team will proactively work with impacted customers to rerun those jobs. As this is a global outage, carrier websites could be impacted which can cause delays to ordering. The Tangoe team is working with impacted carriers to process as quickly as possible. If you are experiencing any issues this morning, please contact your Customer Success Manager or open a ticket in our ServiceNOW Portal.. Best Regards Tangoe Production Support
