We are aware of a major PHP security issue without a published upstream fix. Curently known mitigations have been enabled and the full patch will be deployed as soon as it is available.
- monitoring Oct 21, 2026, 02:58 PM UTC
The PHP development team has released security updates addressing the two critical vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619). These vulnerabilities affect PHP's internal memory and request handling and could potentially allow unauthenticated attackers to execute code on affected servers. The security fixes are included in PHP versions 8.2.35, 8.3.36, 8.4.27, and 8.5.12. We have already implemented temporary security mitigations to reduce exposure and are now actively rolling out the patched PHP versions across the Servebolt infrastructure. Our engineering team is closely monitoring the deployment and will provide further updates as the rollout progresses.
- monitoring Oct 21, 2026, 04:31 PM UTC
PHP security updates have been deployed for PHP versions 8.2 to 8.5. We are still working to get fixes out for customers on legacy versions.
- monitoring Oct 21, 2026, 09:10 PM UTC
The PHP security updates have now been deployed for PHP versions 7.3 to 8.1 as well. Some mitigations/restrictions will remain in place until it has been fully validated.

- investigating Jun 05, 2026, 09:07 AM UTC
We are currently investigating this issue.
- identified Jun 05, 2026, 10:07 AM UTC
Reachability is partial, some clients can reach London while others cannot. Data center networks appears to be more affected than access networks. We are working on a fix.
- identified Jun 05, 2026, 12:35 PM UTC
We are continuing to work on fixing this issue. The connectivity is redudant but there are problems with both the primary and secondary fiber link providers currently. Customers on ACD, CDN or Cloudflare should have working sites as we have been able to re-route most of it. IPv6 traffic should also be restored. If you are NOT using ACD or CDN you should make sure your DNS is set up with the AAAA / IPv6 records shown in the control panel. This should improve the reachability of your site. But DO NOT remove the A / IPv4 record. Most outbound API traffic to major providers has been restored as well. There are still issues with reaching SSH/SFTP, and changing things in the control panel do not work for sites in London.
- monitoring Jun 05, 2026, 01:14 PM UTC
Connectivity is now fully restored. We are still seeing some very minor issues but expect these to get resolved shortly. They are not likely to be noticable to any end users.
- resolved Jun 05, 2026, 03:24 PM UTC
This incident has been resolved.

- postmortem Mar 25, 2025, 06:33 PM UTC
On March 25th, 2025, Servebolt experienced a network routing issue that resulted in degraded performance and, for some users, temporary unavailability. The issue primarily affected traffic routed through Cloudflare in Amsterdam and was due to routing irregularities between Cloudflare and ERA-IX \(Eranium Internet Exchange\), which lies outside Servebolt’s infrastructure. While the root of the problem was external, we treat any service disruption with the utmost seriousness. Our team responded quickly and worked actively with our upstream partners to identify and resolve the issue. ## **Impact** * **Who was affected:** Clients with traffic routed through Cloudflare’s node in Amsterdam, primarily clients in the Netherlands and nearby regions. This includes traffic to website running Accelerated Domains and Servebolt CDN. * **What happened:** Intermittent or complete unavailability of services. * **Who was not affected:** Clients served via other regions of the Cloudflare network, or clients not using Cloudflare, Accelerated Domains or Servebolt CDN ## **Preliminary Root Cause** Current information indicates that the operator of ERA-IX, a major internet exchange in Amsterdam, [identified a routing issue between their systems and Cloudflare](https://status.eranium.io/cm8ob9lqs004czae34bwj2it3) at **10:46 CET**. To mitigate the issue, they temporarily disabled their connection to Cloudflare at **11:16 CET**. However, the change did not fully take effect across all upstream networks. This caused inconsistencies in how traffic was routed, which continued to disrupt connectivity for some users. Although our upstream provider was not the source of the issue, a manual refresh of their network configuration at **15:30 CET** successfully restored normal traffic flow between Cloudflare, ERA-IX, and affected networks. This incident occurred within one of the foundational layers of the internet — completely outside of Servebolt’s infrastructure — but it still impacted how some users were able to reach our platform, primarily in and around the Netherlands. Identifying the root cause of incidents at this level of the internet is often time-consuming. The infrastructure involved spans multiple independent networks, each with limited visibility into the others. This is why resolution and confirmation took several hours, despite active collaboration between the involved parties. ## **Next Steps** We are currently awaiting further clarification from Cloudflare, Blix, and Eranium. A full and final report will be published once this information is available — expected **this week.**
