We are investigating reports of slow-running Batches on some accounts.

The root cause of the delay was a hardware failure of one of the core Batch scheduling components. The platform has now recovered and the backlog of queued Batches is being processed. We apologise for the delay in processing Batches. Live (i.e. real-time) API responses were unaffected.
