From 2:04pm to 2:07pm PDT on 30 April 2026, the Replit website was down. The root cause has been identified & mitigated. Apologies.

From 1:54pm to 3:18pm PDT on April 30th, 2026 the Replit Key-Value store service was down. The issue has been fixed.
Users are experiencing problems with creating accounts right now. We've identified a potential root-cause and are mitigating. Please standby for further updates.

When rolling out a new feature, we inadvertently starved our main website database of resources, causing replit.com to be slow and sometimes unavailable between 14:30 PM PT and 14:53 PM PT. We have turned off the offending feature and replit.com is back to normal now. Thanks for your patience.
Clerk servers are returning 500 suddenly. Investigating ways to mitigate it, while we are checking with the clerk team in parallel.
