WP Transactional e-mails not sending as of WP 5.7 upgrade
Presslabs experienced a major incident on March 24, 2021 affecting Email delivery, lasting 2h 29m. The incident has been resolved; the full update timeline is below.

We have identified an error that was introduced as of the WP 5.7 upgrade on all sites that are not using a custom e-mail sending method. If your site is using an external plugin to send the e-mails it should not be affected. We're looking into solutions and a possible emergency maintenance to apply the fix later today or tomorrow morning.

The issue has been identified, and the fix will be applied to the production sites as soon as possible. During this time, the wp-admin area of the site can become inaccessible for a short period of time while the new fix is applied. The public sites will not be affected, and they will work normally. Cache invalidation will be briefly disabled during this time to prevent public sites outages. For any inquiries during this time don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected].
