Ookla experienced a major incident on April 20, 2021 affecting Speedtest Intelligence Portal and Speedtest Custom, lasting 5h 20m. The incident has been resolved; the full update timeline is below.

An outage affecting our Authentication provider Auth0 is currently preventing logins to our Speedtest Intelligence portal and to our Speedtest Custom dashboard. The customer Speedtest Custom sites are unaffected. We are monitoring the situation as Auth0 engineers are working on this issue.

The Auth0 team is continuing to work on restoring services for their outage. The entire Auth0 technical and engineering teams are taking this as an all hands on deck situation to find resolution. Users who are logged in are not impacted by this incident.
