During a hotfix release last night (6/22), we inadvertently introduced a bug that prevented fundraisers from logging into their dashboards. We were alerted to the issue by our logs as soon as fundraisers started logging in, and immediately set to working on a fix, which we released at 7:08am Pacific, for a total of about 9 hours of degraded performance, most of which was during the night. The cause of the incident was the fact that this particular release did not require us to recompile our front end files (which is usually done during every release anyway), something that a previous, unrelated change made necessary for the operation of the fundraiser login area. We have since fixed the issue so that even if the files are not recompiled during release, the dashboard will not break.
