On Monday October 20, 2025 at approximately 3:20PM ET MANTL became aware of a system-wide outage that was affecting all MANTL environments. The outage prevented all clients from accessing the Self Serve and Console Account Opening experiences. At 7:05AM ET on October 20, 2025, MANTL became aware of a wide-scale AWS outage and initiated enhanced monitoring of its platform. No significant anomalies were detected and enhanced monitoring continued. At 3:20PM ET, MANTL began experiencing a large number of errors from a third party vendor. MANTL investigated the issue and determined that it was due to a third party vendor that was impacted by the wide-scale AWS outage. MANTL placed all environments into maintenance mode while waiting for the vendor and AWS to become fully operational. Although the AWS cloud began to operate nominally around 5:24PM ET, our third party vendor was not able to restore the endpoints we rely upon until approximately 1:20AM ET on Tuesday October 21, 2025. At 2:30AM ET*, MANTL confirmed the vendor was operational and the Self Serve Account Opening experience was fully restored. At 8:48AM ET, on Tuesday October 21st, 2025, MANTL confirmed the Console Account Opening experience was functioning as expected and was fully restored across all environments. The outage did not result in any data loss, however no applications were able to be submitted during the downtime for the Self Serve experience from 3:20PM ET October 20th to 2:30AM ET October 21st, and for the Console experience from 3:20PM ET October 20th to 8:48AM ET October 21, 2025.
