Layer27 experienced a network disruption on June 11, 2025, due to a software defect in a core switch operating system. This issue temporarily impacted communication between infrastructure services, resulting in inaccessibility for some customer workloads. Our engineering team immediately identified the root cause, performed recovery procedures, and fully restored services by 1:28 PM ET. We are working with our vendor on a permanent fix and accelerating infrastructure improvements, including the deployment of additional availability zones to enhance resiliency.
