On Friday October 21, 2016 we experienced service interruptions for most of the day. The cause of the outages was a large scale Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack which targeted a Internet Performance Management company called Dyn. The attack caused most of the US East region to go 'dark'. Effecting services like Amazon, Twitter, Github and our Innovo Cloud Platform.
