We had an issue with AWS auto scaling module that caused our servers to take longer than expected to reach the desired scaling point and that caused our servers to stop responding for a period of 5 minutes (the time that it took to reach the desired scaling point). This behavior is out of the ordinary and we have several scaling procedures running every day. Our team is investigating what caused this momentary issue and will apply a fix.
