During a routine maintenance operation on the table that logs all user activity on Hunter, one of our engineers accidentally executed a query that locked that table. This resulted in our web application and API becoming temporarily unavailable. As soon as the issue was identified, we immediately terminated the query, and full service was restored. We are actively developing a safeguard mechanism that will automatically detect and terminate any query that locks database tables beyond a defined threshold. This will help ensure the stability of our platform by preventing similar incidents in the future. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
