Our monitoring detected a large performance spike around 8:40 AM PST. Systems have since recovered and we're investigating the issue.

Resolved - we were able to identify that this slowdown was in connection with provisioning of new hardware from our hosting provider. This is the same outstanding issue that has been causing 3-4 minute slowdowns connected to the hardware provisioning process. We have once again followed up with their team and are evaluating possible work-arounds.
