    Between 7:10 and 7:15pm ET, the GiveGab and Giving Day platforms experienced elevated error rates due to a rapid spike in donation traffic. This traffic was related to a promotional donation period during which donations qualified for a prize drawing. As a result of the initial spike in traffic our servers automatically scaled up capacity, however the traffic outpaced capacity during the scaling process causing elevated error rates in the interim. Once the extra capacity came online, the error rate returned to normal. In response, we are maintaining our servers' scaled up capacity to prevent similar future incidents.
