    We are currently aware of a service outage affecting our CityFibre broadband services in York. CityFibre have identified a core link between Leeds and York is down, impacting customers across their full fibre network in York. Start Time - Date: 00:50:00 - 11/10/22 Affecting: York Service Impact: Loss of service Latest Update CityFibre are working to resolve the outage and currently have engineers on site working to restore connectivity. Further updates will be provided as we learn more. We apologise for any inconvenience this outage causes.

Latest Update (08:30) City Fibre Engineers are on site and have identified a 200m section of cable that needs to be replaced to mitigate further impact across the Full Fibre Network between the 2 joints.     We are currently aware of a service outage affecting our CityFibre broadband services in York. CityFibre have identified a core link between Leeds and York is down, impacting customers across their full fibre network in York. Start Time - Date: 00:50:00 - 11/10/22 Affecting: York Service Impact: Loss of service Previous updates CityFibre are working to resolve the outage and currently have engineers on site working to restore connectivity. Further updates will be provided as we learn more. City Fibre Engineers are on site and have identified a 200m section of cable that needs to be replaced to mitigate further impact across the Full Fibre Network between the 2 joints. Latest Update (09:00) ERS Repair Teams are onsite and have have inspected the damage. The team have commenced the cable pull and on completion will commence splicing the fibres to restore service. CityFibre Field Services Team are onsite to coordinate restoration activity. Reroute options have been explored and there are no options to reroute services, therefore, service remain at risk until the cable repair has been completed. The onsite teams expect service to be restored by 10:15. We apologise for any inconvenience this outage causes.
