Problem scheduling Facebook posts using the Facebook Scheduler
Gain experienced a minor incident on October 15, 2025 affecting Publishing, lasting 18h 40m. The incident has been resolved; the full update timeline is below.

We have learned of an issue in the Facebook (Meta) platform that is causing problems when scheduling Facebook posts for future publishing with the Facebook Scheduler. Attempting to schedule these posts results in a "Facebook responded: An unknown error has occurred." error message. As a workaround, please modify these posts to use the Gain Scheduler. You can do so by switching the "Publishing mode" field in the post editor to "Direct via Gain Scheduler." You can also switch the default scheduler for the channel by going to the channel settings page, then switching to the Gain Scheduler in the "Scheduling" section. This will change the default setting for any posts created in the future. We are actively monitoring to see when Meta fixes the issue and will update here.

Meta has solved this issue. Facebook posts scheduled through the Facebook scheduler are now working again.
