Due to Amazon's new SP API we are currently not able to retrieve Shipping Address and Buyer Information from a standard “List Orders” (getOrders) endpoint. This requires us to make 2 additional API requests per Order to retrieve Shipping Address and Buyer Information. Example : - Before SP API : 1 API request could retrieve 50 orders, with all Order information needed - After SP API : 1 API request could retrieve 50 orders. An additional 100 API requests are needed to retrieve Shipping Address and Buyer Information. What this means : - You may experience “Rate Limit Exceeded” error messages in Amazon MWS if you are scheduling your Get Orders process frequently. **** We - recommend to reduce the frequency of your GET ORDERS Schedule temporarily to every 2 hours, at minimum, while Amazon addresses our requests.**** What we are doing : - We have an open case with the Amazon MWS team asking why Shipping Address and Buyer Information is blanked out on the “List” endpoints. If they can provide this as their documentation states, our application will automatically adapt and reduce the API calls necessary to import all Order information. - We are also making additional modifications to our Amazon SP API integration to further reduce the number of API calls we make (while this will help a little bit, we are still forced to make an excessive amount of requests due to the previously stated issue)

We have released a change to reduce the number of API requests we make to Amazon’s SP API. We are now only making additional API calls for Orders that have not been imported. This should provide some immediate alleviation for new Orders while we continue to wait for Amazon MWS team to engage us regarding the SP API endpoints that are not performing per as defined by their documentation.

While we wait for response from Amazon SP API team. We have put in a solution to resolve the issue by reducing the number of API calls per order.
