From 5:30-9:00 AM EST our FTP servers could not be connected to. A full incident report will be updated here shortly.
- postmortem Sep 10, 2026, 10:35 AM UTC
# RCA During a security upgrade of our FTP server a missing/incorrect port configuration resulted in the inability to connect on standard FTP port 22. This wasn’t noticed immediately as a DNS switch was made to point from the old server to the new server and our testing incorrectly continued to connect without a full DNS cache flush. # Impact No third party services or internal Flxpoint services were able to write or read files from the FTP service during the outage window. All existing files at rest on the FTP server were not affected nor corrupted. ## Future Future security upgrades to our FTP servers will be carrying these two lessons forward to ensure these class of errors cannot resurface.
