  6. resolved Dec 10, 2022, 10:40 PM UTC

This incident has been resolved. Greet and Checking in customers manually have returned to normal. Earlier today we started observing issues between one of the services in Greet and Cashier 2.0 and our authentication service. This service is used to look up customers which affects the ability to search for customers from either Greet or Cashier 2.0. In order to resolve the issue, we fixed the communication issues between our systems and our authentication service, at which point search functionality was back online. We are investigating the root cause of the issue to ensure it is prevented from happening again.
