FireNet engineers have been alerted to a link failure between Melbourne and Sydney. Customers would have noticed higher latency during this period as the link was flapping and would not fail-over. FireNet engineers have disabled this link and latency issues have been resolved as it is now using alternative routes. No further customer impact should be experienced during this outage.
