  1. identified Nov 04, 2021, 08:36 AM UTC

When configuring the FinDock extension for Stripe, you're asked to connect to Stripe (https://docs.findock.com/stripe#configure-the-findock-extension). However this results in a 500 error. So currently it is not possible to connect your Salesforce with FinDock environment to a Stripe account. The issue was noticed on Nov 1, 2021 at 1:13 PM for the first time. NOTE: This issue doesn't affect customers with an existing Stripe account. These customers are still able to use their existing FinDock Stripe functionality.

  2. identified Nov 04, 2021, 08:48 AM UTC

The cause of the issue has been identified. Stripe changed the use of the restricted API tokens which is used by FinDock to set up the connection with Stripe. This results in customers not being able to connect FinDock to a Stripe account. We are working with Stripe to analyse the exact impact in order to define the FinDock-change that is needed to resolve this issue.

  3. resolved Nov 04, 2021, 11:40 AM UTC

This incident has been resolved. Stripe identified an issue that was preventing users from using restricted keys in the OAuth flow and rolled out a fix. As a consequence, FinDock had to update and updated the Stripe permissions to work with the fix provided by Stripe. All customers should now be able to set up a connection to Stripe again.
