Update timeline

  1. investigating Oct 24, 2019, 09:22 PM UTC

We're looking into issues some customers are experiencing in connecting to the flexmls system.

  2. monitoring Oct 25, 2019, 12:27 AM UTC

We've identified the cause of the partial outage, and have implemented what we believe to be the best possible fix. A small subset of users remain affected, but that group of users -- mainly on mobile networks -- is expected to continue to recover. The problem was introduced in the form of misconfigured domain name service (DNS) data, which is heavily cached throughout the internet. As those caches invalidate the problems will subside.

  3. monitoring Oct 25, 2019, 09:12 AM UTC

At this point, flexmls service should be restored to customers on all networks. However, we will continue to monitor the situation as the morning progresses, and will update this incident accordingly.
