    At 2018-09-04 20:00 UTC Google Widevine has cut off support for browser CDM versions prior to 1.4.8.984. This affects Chrome versions 58 and older (released prior to June 2017) as well as old Firefox versions. In case your customers run into issues, please advise them to update their browsers to the latest version. Please note that Widevine on Android is not affected by this issue.
