    We experienced a partial outage of our Widevine license service in multiple regions between 00:59:23 and 01:18:30 due to connection errors to an underlying service. Region failover occurred a couple of minutes into the outage and caused traffic to be moved to healthy regions. We will provide an updated timeline and analysis as we continue our investigation. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    Timeline ap-northeast-1 (Tokyo) in fail over state from 01:03:23 to 01:26:23 ap-southeast-2 (Sydney) in fail over state from 01:08:07 to 01:24:06 us-west-1 (California) in fail over state from 01:14:18 to 01:22:18 During the affected times any DNS queries for our license endpoints would not include these regions, but other healthy regions.
