DRMtoday Production: Network issues in eu-west-1
DRMtoday experienced a notice incident on September 26, 2018 affecting License Delivery and Authentication, lasting 6h 30m. The incident has been resolved; the full update timeline is below.

Due to a database fail-over in eu-west-1 we experienced an outage of our auth service from 2018-09-26 7:16 to 7:44 UTC. AWS has confirmed increased EC2 launch error rates and connectivity issues in eu-west-1 on their status page. We saw other connection problems in the same period of time. Also the status page could not be sent immediately, as statuspage.io also seems to have been affected by the issue.

At 12:35 UTC we saw another severe connectivity issue in eu-west-1 which was also affecting license delivery. The region has been taken out of service, requests from European customers are currently served from near-by regions.

Connectivity is back to normal. The eu-west-1 region is back in service. We'll keep monitoring the situation closely.
