Exoscale has launched the second version of their Simple Object Storage (SOS), used by Divio Cloud to store and serve media files. The new implementation offers many improvements with regard to performance and flexibility. In order to take advantage of the improvements in v2, we will perform a migration from SOS v1 to SOS v2 on Wednesday 04.04.2018, between 19:00 and 23:00 CEST. During the migration, deployments to the Swiss region and write-access to the media storage will be disabled. Existing media files will continue to be served correctly and websites will not be otherwise impacted.
